I hate it when a movie does not get the recognition it deserves. I know that Hacker’s Game qualifies as one of these because I am only just now hearing about it while it was released three years ago. The movie does not even have its own page on Wikipedia. Its title is still stuck in its depressing black colored font, lacking the blue hyperlink to take us there.
I had to go to IMDB just to get a synopsis for the film. IMDB! It is hardly implies anything impressive if your movie has its own page on there. I could upload a home movie to YouTube and it would probably have its own page on IMDB by the end of the day. I just might do it too if it did not mean I would have to relive those blunder years while screening it for any childhood bath scenes. I don’t know why parents love bath time so much that they want to chronicle it, and I do not believe them that I will understand when I am a parent.
And why am I so confident that the movie is underrated even though I have never seen it? Why because it has Pom shaking her pompoms, of course. That alone has to be worth the 90 minute runtime.
