Chris Applebaum, the mastermind of the EATS CHANNEL, who was the original creative director behind ALL of the viral Carl's Jr. ads you remember over the years, was not asked back to produce the brand's return to the genre.
So he produced his own version with one of his models named INÈS TROCCHIA
Can you believe that Carl's Jr. didn't ask their one-time creative director Chris Applebaum back to produce their comeback Super Bowl ad? Even after all the success and relevance he provided them with his previous work with the brand?
Instead they used some new fangled generation, doing their bootleg tribute to the master mind who cultivated the concept back in the good old days for their high profile SUPER BOWL AD FEATURING ALIX EARLE .
The good news is that they decided to go back to the classic "hot trending chick eating burger provocatively" ad that you grew up on in the 2000s, which means a bright future for those of us who are into that kind of thing.
The better news is that we don't need Carl's Jr. to make hotter, better, more fun versions of their ads using less annoying self promoting influencers like Alix Earle.
