Julia Belaya Outside!

Photographer Nastya Melnik from the Ukraine put together this post Quarantine shoot with model JULIA .

Her quote regarding this shoot is:

“After lockdown, every moment feels deeper, every time you go outside becomes more valuable. Touch with nature is sensual and intimate. This editorial was made outside my hometown Odessa.”

Now I'm not here to discredit any creative, if anything I believe that she believes what she's saying and that there's more to a photo than just a girl posing. I just have a hard time seeing that, but that is on me.

I also don't disagree that with COVID, we've all had to reevaluate a few things, and living in the city or not spending time outside in the country with nature. It is nature's way of social distancing and it is far more fulfilling and probably healthier than sitting in an apartment. From hikes, to swims, to laying in the grass if you're into that kind of thing, you can still connect in ways I am sure humans have always connected before this digital age of insanity, but clearly anything is better with a nude model involved.
