Rebecca Black in a Crop Top!

Rebecca Black is now 23, but 9 years ago she was involved in what mean spirited critics everywhere dubbed the worst song of all time. The song was FRIDAY and I am sure you remember it because it is still referenced and sung around offices everywhere, just not by Eddie Van Halen (RIP). I think that was a too soon for the Eddie Van Halen fans out there.

It is pretty horrible when you think of a the media slaughtering a 14 year old girl after having a huge viral hit. This is what mainstream acts try to do and spend millions of dollars trying to do and before TikTok weren't always able to do. Maybe it was a just a jealousy thing, or they needed to discount the poor girl's success because her success proved the music industry was a bit of a sham and a 14 year old girl could game it. It was 2011, before the mainstream entertainment companies really took the internet as seriously. Now they would have signed her and thrown millions at her jus to have a piece of whatever it is she was doing! Oh, how times change.

Now, Rebecca Black is not the pop star you'd expect her to be, but apparently she is active on Youtube and has a fan base. She identifies as queer (who doesn't these days) and she's looking good in this crop top, even with that blue hair!
