Chelsea Handler is back with more book recommendations as part of her monthly Get Lit With Chelsea book club. This week she posed in her backyard, nude as usual, laid out on a bench with her current reads, she’s still “attempting to read” Diplomacy by Henry Kissinger which she;s been working on for a while. Her new additions are :
Brain on Fire by Susannah Cahalan
Brain on fire is an autobiography by New York Post writer Susannah Cahalan. The book details Cahalan's struggle with a rare form of encephalitis and her recovery. The book was also made into a film starring Chloë Grade Moretz and is actually a pretty crazy story.
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
Great Expectations is novel which depicts the education of an orphan nicknamed Pip, a coming-of-age story set in Kent and London in the early 19th century. It is Dickens's second novel, after David Copperfield, to be fully narrated in the first person.
