I have to hand it to the creators of Game of Thrones, for being a show that takes place during a medieval period they do a hell of a job in making the characters seem downright hygienic. I am no expert by any means, but I would think that in the days before running water bathing would probably be put on the back burner. And yet here is Emilia taking a steamy bath with a sheen on her body that is so bright it looks like she has a coat of wax. That could just be due to her being a Queen though, they probably had access to those kinds of perks.

One thing I am curious about is how they handled body hair back in the day. Were they all going au natural back then or did a few of them take their chances with the straight razors? And how dedicated were they to removing all of the hair? I doubt even the most devoted of them were not getting too close to their fun bits. It probably looked like a ‘70s disco under their tunics.
