I was always told that I would never make it in the world of photography because I would need talent, drive, and at least one camera. But since I have taken a look at these candids I think I was lied to. Clearly those three things are not completely necessary, just get a load of the assistant to the cameraman (Not to be confused with the assistant cameraman).
All he is doing is holding up that reflective thingamajig. How could I not be qualified for that? I once worked half a summer as barker for a chicken shack. That has to count the same as a PhD in the field of stand there and hold this.
Now, there is probably more to the job than just standing there, and just holding this; one probably needs to know where the sun is. There is also the need to have at least one working shoulder so that you can hold the photographer’s bag. Well guess what, I have been one strapping backpacks since I was in grade school, so both of my shoulders are now twice as strong as the average grade schooler's.
Now that my application is on the table I eagerly await the impending job offers.
