It is a real shame that the cocktail glass does not have a more masculine figure. I think that is the reason why more men do not buy cocktails in the bar, it might send the wrong message. Sure, James Bond can order a martini, but that is only because he is wearing a tuxedo, and we all know that dudes in tuxedos can get away with a lot that men in untucked button downs cannot.

If there was a bar that was willing to serve cocktails in alternative glasses that are not transparent then they would make a killing. Unfortunately bartenders are so uppity in regards to their mixology that I doubt any of them would be willing to seize the opportunity.

Like, listen guys, I do not care if the wrong glass will ruin the bouquet. I am out here to get drunk, so please assist me in whatever capacity you are able. Cocktails are about three times the price of the shit beer that I drink, so it would really behoove them to focus their efforts on selling more. If I didn’t know any better then I would think they are trying to shame us into drinking shitty pilsners.
