Specs that allow doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers to "see through" your skin? Sounds pretty amazing to me. It's been dubbed as X-ray specs by some, although x-ray isn't the technology used behind these devices. The specs, called Eyes-On, are manufactured by Evena. They don't exactly let its wearer see through anything except skin. That way, they can spot veins and find the ones they're looking for when they're injecting medication or drawing blood.
Eyes-On works by using a spectral approach which utilizes where four pulses of light are used and combined into a single image. This, in turn, reveals the veins under the patient's skin.
Now if only they can get it to work on clothes too.. Particularly the ones Katy Cockteaseare wearing.
