Rooney Mara And Cate Blanchett Topless In Lesbionic “Carol”

You know I'm always down for a Sapphic love story, anywhere anytime, provided it's not a Golden Girls behind the scenes sex tape or such. Carol is a bit artsy and heavy for me, but there's no denying the tension leading up to the moment Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett break down the walls of 1950's sexual mores and get naked scrumping on top of one another, well, that's a beautiful thing in more ways than one. I can think of seventeen actually.

It's mostly Rooney who bares her supple funbags in the climactic making of the sweaty passion scene in the film, though Cate is also clearly without clothes. This isn't exactly Blue is The Warmer Color levels of real life scissor kissing, but seeing these two highly accomplished thespianics going at it topless reminds us of the basic fact that any and all of our most belusted actresses could and ought be doing the same. This is real life. Real lesbionic life, so even better. It's like Star Wars, but less blasters, more tiny kisses on the teats of forbidden lust. I'm game. Enjoy.
