Inarguably one of our greatest living actresses, Marisa Tomei gained fame through the tough New York girl-type character for which she won an Oscar. Sidebar: Can I just say I'm glad that this past year's Oscar Best Picture debacle proved definitively and conclusively that Jack Palance didn't fuck up when he read her name as the winner all those years ago? Time to put that urban legend to bed already.

Perhaps my favorite thing about Marisa is that she came around to nudity well into her career as an established actor. Yes, she filmed topless scenes for 1993's Untamed Heart that were later cut—and then reinserted later in a director's cut—but her big nude coming out was in Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, a solid fifteen years after winning an Oscar. She also went nude and earned an Oscar nomination for 2008's The Wrestler, and went nude on screen as recently as 2014's otherwise forgettable Loitering with Intent.
