Scenes like these always make me wonder about the efficacy of acting. If a person plays a role as a stripper, for this scenario they can be either man or woman, how are they not actually considered a stripper? If they do an actual dance, if they show their actual boobs, and if they are paid real money for it all, then how does that not constitute being a stripper?
This is different from saying an actress who has simulated sex on screen is the same as a porn star, because the sex was never real, so some claim. But if a guy plays a role as a hitman and throughout the period of filming learns how to handle and shoot weapons, then those skills are actually real. Those skills still exists outside of the movie just as Nicole's striptease existed outside of the film as well. I think it is only for the mental health of actresses, which is already very precarious, that no one stresses this point.
I am not saying that this lessens her skills as an actress, I am only saying she now has two viable careers. Where I come from, that is something that one should put on their resume. There are plenty of people that don't even have one job.
