I do not even want to know what kind of R and D went into the making of Penny Baker’s top. That is the type material that I would only expect to see in the future, and being that these photos were taken over thirty years ago I no longer know what to think. My whole idea of what is possible has been tossed on its head. For all I know Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland was a work of nonfiction. And why shouldn’t it be real? I am pretty sure I have had conversations with rabbits and doorknobs before. Granted, most of those times I was fairly severely under the influence, but that seems more like an insignificant detail than anything remotely important.

I am trying to figure out how a fabric can have multiple colors simultaneously, but the explanation eludes me. That probably does not count for much considering all of the other basic things that confuse me. For example, I still do not know how the pumps in basketball sneakers from the ‘90s work. How the hell does that sort of technology get compacted into a shoe and then fade into obscurity.
