Stop And See Gorgeous Ballerina Lisa Marie Scott Strip Down To Her Tutu

I never understood the purpose of a tutu. I mean, I assume that there is a purpose associated with them. They look far too ridiculous for them to exist solely based on aesthetic reasons. And if it was aesthetic then I think the tutu would have branched out into other fields of fashion, instead of only ballet. Even the kilt has managed to break into the hipster culture. Every now and then I see a bartender at a craft brewery wearing one, but I have yet to see one of those bartenders wearing a tutu.

My thought is that they are the opposite of aerodynamic, whatever the hell that word is, and that is why ballerinas need them. They are basically like little parachutes wrapped around the wearers waist which allow them to stay up in the air for just a tad bit longer.

Either way, I am grateful to whoever had the idea to make a skirt which does not cover up the legs. Whoever wields the gift of gab to talk women into those things could probably be able to talk me into one as well. So in that regard I am glad we have never meant.
