To say that it was a happy day in my life when I discovered that Lucy Lawless, the woman who was Xena: Warrior Princess, appeared naked on screen would be like saying it was a happy day when we ended World War II. To find out that the woman who was one of my early childhood crushes not only still attractive, but hot as hell was some truly great news.

It is not always the case that seeing a person naked will live up to what you had imagined in your head. And believe me, there was a hell of a lot of imagining going on. There was imagining going on two, sometimes three times a day. But Lucy, being the crowd pleaser that she is was unwilling to let herself go, because revealing to the world that she was not actually a warrior and princess might be too much for it to bear.

There would be mass suicides due to having their beliefs shattered. It would be like discovering everything we know about the universe is bullshit and we are actually riding around on the back of a turtle. It would be exactly like that.
