That is one classy looking hula skirt that Cardi B has on, and I bet there is going to be enough hip shaking in this video to make its Hawaiian creators proud. There is nothing worse than borrowing something from another culture and not doing its origins justice. That is why when I buy baguettes I only ever cut them with a guillotine. It’s called respect, people. And I would respect Cardi B so hard if given half a chance.
See, no one can call what you say “offensive” if you use a nice word like respect. That is the same reason why we call boning “making love” even though there is hardly ever any love involved. It just makes the debauchery a bit more palatable. It is a lot easier to look someone in the eye the next day when you claim to have made something together other than just bruises and scratches.
I am eagerly looking forward to seeing this music video in full because I am dying to know if they managed to keep those nips hidden by that top. She’s standing still here and it is still peeking out, so it will only get harder with movement.
