The body on Kimberley MacDonald is straight up ridiculous. I was not aware that we as a society possessed the knowledge that is necessary to create her back in 1983. That was when boob jobs were still in their formative years and finding good advice for dieting and exercise meant buying snake oil from a carnie at the town fair. I mean, all of those things still apply today, but it was even more true back then.

We were in the fallout of Marilyn Monroe, so every lady was trying to figure out how they could recreate her body. As with any scientific advances in the world, they were not all successful. Some women ended up looking like a creature from The Island of Doctor Moreau. That is a hell of a sacrifice to make in the name of beauty. I am sure that is a fetish for some people, so it wasn’t like they went entirely without loving, but it is not like they accomplished their goal either. Becoming an actor in horror movies because they do not need to spend extra money on costumes is not much of a consolation prize.
