This is the precise reason why blazers were made for men and not women. There is no risk of a man accidently slipping nip if he is not over three hundred pounds. There simply is not enough mass in his chest to separate the jacket enough. But of course, women refuse to listen to reason. The moment they are told they shouldn’t do something they demand to do it in some misguided attempt at feminism, and we are all left with these glorious mishaps.
Why so many women decide to wear blazers without shirts on is another mystery to me. It certainly is not professional and there is no way a man could get away with that. We had a hard enough time making t-shirts acceptable in the ‘80s. Even that required the help of Miami Vice, but it didn’t last long, and I do not understand why. Technically the jacket provides a collar, which is professional, so I do not see why we need to have another collared shirt underneath it. It seems like overkill. It is not like I wear a beanie under my baseball cap.
