So many women let their standards for fashion drop when they are pregnant that I almost didn’t believe it was even possible for them to stay trendy. Fortunately, I have Teresa Palmer to snap me out of that misconception. Of course having a baby bump with pipe thin arms and legs are difficult dimensions to shop for, but that does not mean they need to dress in nothing but ponchos and sweatpants.
I shouldn’t be too critical of people’s choices when I’ll never be at risk of going through the same thing. I have, however, experienced unemployment and I think the two are comparable. My body went to shit, I’d rarely get out of bed, and I made the lives of those around me miserable. But even through all of that I managed to avoid the enticing call of my sweatpants in the dresser drawer.
During daylight hours the sweats stayed on lockdown like vampires. At that point it is a mental game of feeding your motivation, and dressing for success is paramount. I think pregnant ladies can benefit from that as well. If they live a lifestyle like they aren’t pregnant, they won’t be before they know it.
