I am going to need to consult on expert on how well high heels are able to handle walking on sand. My guess would be not well. My guess would be that walking on high heels on flat, firm ground is enough of a challenge, and there is no need to add more trouble into the mix. Being in heels on sand must be like juggling on a unicycle. I have actually seen that be done successfully before, but it was so unbelievable I still have my doubts.

Maybe that is why Jessica Edstrom and Claudia Romani are on the ground in so many of these photos. It was simply too much to be able to balance while upright. They wouldn’t be the first two to overestimate their abilities. I have seen so many cowboys think they can ride a bull, but the bull disagrees, and the bull is usually right.

In this case, the stakes are much smaller, which is great. There is no risk of goring for either Jessica or Claudia, and they don’t need a helmet obscuring their faces for safety. I think they have just the right amount of coverings on for the occasion.
