Being a part of the modern day aristocracy probably is not the daydream that we all think it is. Sure, there are not a whole lot of responsibilities involved, but there is still the ever present sword of Damocles hanging above your head. The common people are always looking for someone to blame for their problems, I know because I am one of them, and the aristocracy is an easy target.

If we attacked CEOs every time our economy took a hit we would be getting rid of the very people that might help us get out of the depression. But if we went after the figureheads that no longer serve any purpose other than filling a title then we can expel that built up aggression and carryon with our lives.

That kind of threat of impending doom must be why so many socialites turn to the party lifestyle. The stress must be overwhelming. If I was one of them I would probably renounce my inheritance and request it be passed on to a promising young man by the name of Vallon. It seems like he has the skills to really make proper use of it.
