So, usually, when movie studios promote a movie that has nudity in it, they usually allude to the nudity, or skirt the issue, or say it's for artistic purposes, and other things like that. Or course, 99% of the time, the nude scenes are in the movie because the producers think "tits sell movies" (I actually saw that in a making of for "Eye of the Beholder").
So the thing I don't quite get is, if the nudity is the lure to draw people into the theatre (which has actually been shown not to work), why did the producers for Lie With Me, starring Lauren Lee Smith and Eric Balfour, opt to release promo shots with the nudity already in them? Don't get me wrong, though, I'm not complaining.
