CELEBRITIES

In my opinion, it is pretty damned selfish of the Southwest to bogart turquoise for their own identity. I happen to like turquoise, but I can’t go around wearing it without people asking me where I went for vacation. Why can’t a man just be able to wear his dreamcatcher necklace without facing an onslaught of questions?
What if every locality decided to selfishly protect their rocks like that? Diamonds would strictly be associated with Africa. Rubies would be strictly associated with Africa. And Tanzanite would be strictly associated with…Africa. Dammnit, Africa! This is exactly what I’m talking about. I will not stand to have that continent take credit for all of the good stuff while the rest of us cannot even get credit for the stuff on our own continent.
If I was Chelsie Aryn I wouldn’t even try to steal that jewelry from the set. Not for ethical reasons, or anything like that, because it would be too much of an attention grabber. Everybody notices turquoise. She would be picked up by the cops before she even had a chance to pawn it for that precious moolah.
