One of the many benefits to wearing a minidress is that the length of your boots can also get higher, thereby protecting your modesty. This way you can show the same amount of skin as if you were wearing a longer dress. As we all know, modesty is directly related to the amount of visible skin and has nothing to do with behavior.

Women need not pay any mind to those who think tall boots are inherently slutty. I have done plenty of research on this theory, and the science simply does not support it. Sure, tall boots are the footwear of choice for many prostitutes, but they are also the first choice of fly fishermen as well. I dare you to try and make the claim that fly fishermen are loose.

I am sure this was the logic that Rita was using when she chose her outfit. A woman of her stature cannot afford to walk out of the house without putting forth at least a little bit of effort into it. She could wind up on the frontpage of some blogger as an example of what not to do. The horror.
