Aside from the hairstyles being a dead giveaway for a photo shoot taking place forty years ago, the other obvious sign is the aura of yellow light that seems to surround every model who is in them. Either the women used to naturally glow from all of the everyday radioactive items they came into contact with, or else photographers have changed how they choose to light their photo shoots.

Personally, I like the glow. And if it was a natural byproduct of their diets I imagine it was very useful. You would save a fortune on your electric bill if your girl could light up the room herself. Although, given the ones that I know they would probably just turn the lamps on anyway because they like the decoration.

It is madness. Lights are a utility item, they are not art pieces. And if you are not paying the bills then you had better respect the bill payer’s rules. I do not know when I became my father, but I am not hating it. As it turns out, the old man had a couple of good ideas, which just goes to show that if you live long enough then you too can become vindicated in your child’s eyes.
