I know I should be focused on Crystal Greenvelle right now. I know this. But I just cannot help but be drawn to that painting hanging on the wall behind her. I think the photographer was nearly as infatuated with it as I am, which explains why he included it in the majority of the shots. Clearly it was intentional.
The painting looks like multi-colored gumdrops, which truly speaks to me. They are reminiscent of the
Campbellās Soup cans that rocked the art world so many decades ago. And I think these gumdrops could be just as revolutionary. They really offer the perfect social commentary for these tumultuous times we are living in. Because what is the world if not many different colored gumdrops?
Normally I would criticize Crystal for being outshined by a painting, because if you want to make it in this business you have to be the star of the show. But this is an extenuating circumstance. It is not every day that the greatest painting of all paintings is found hanging on a wall. It has to be some great art in order to get me to look away from a perky pair of boobs. I think that is why so many artists paint nudes. They know.
